End of Class - 1:10 PM- Rubric
Your Final Portfolio is your chance to demonstrate to me that you are meeting all of the requirements of English 360. As per the Syllabus, you must pass the Final Portfolio in order to pass the class. There are several things to talk about here, so I’ll cut to the chase: what needs to be in your Final Portfolio?
Final Portfolio Contents
-
A Reflective Essay of at least two (2) full pages. The prompt for this is provided separately.
-
One Writing Project of at least three (3) full pages. Please do not use Writing Project 1. (Note: Works Cited pages are not included in your page count, and “three full pages” means your writing should spill onto your fourth page. Two and three quarters is not three.)
-
Quotation, in-text citation, and a Works Cited page, included in your Writing Project, as previously discussed in class. Remember, you must make sure your reader knows what information comes from which source, and that they know where to find that source if they wish to.
-
A previous draft of your chosen Writing Project with my comments. I’ll be commenting on the remaining Writing Projects in the next week. By Monday, you should have my comments on all four Writing Projects.
-
Whatever additional material is necessary to demonstrate that you are meeting each of the Course Outcomes, as outlined on the Final Rubric.
It’s your responsibility to make sure that the Final Portfolio contains everything I need to see the skills listed on the Rubric. If any of these requirements is not met, your Final Portfolio will not pass, and you will not pass the class.
