Since we don’t want to spend the whole rest of the semester going through Mistrial one chapter at a time, our plan instead will be to work in groups to Divide and Conquer the whole book. Now that we’ve looked at the prompt for Writing Project 2,, we know about what we’re looking for. So: on Monday of next week, we’ll be working on Chapters 2-4; on Wednesday, we’ll be discussing Chapters 5-8. Each student is in a group for each day.

Each day, we’ll be sharing the ideas in our chapters. Come to class prepared to talk about the ideas in your chapter. I’ll expect each of you to bring notes on the following:

• Your best answers to our Guiding Questions from last week (251, 261).
• A summary of the main ideas and arguments in the chapter.
• A couple examples from your chapter that might be useful for Writing Project 2.

In class, we’ll all report out on what we found in the chapters.
